Filucry® becomes system relevant - Large mask sewing in spring 2020

Due to the situation in spring 2020, I had decided to include temporary masks in the Filucry range. They were manufactured like all other products here at Filucry, this time with additional support from the family to speed up the production.

It was an exciting time, as it was the first time I had taken a break from my studies for several weeks at a time, so that I could concentrate on my business full time.
Because of the huge demand for makeshift masks, I hired my mother for the time as support, so that we were producing from morning to night. While she was cutting the fabric, ironing and folding etc., I was mainly sitting at the sewing machine or taking care of one of the other steps in the production process when there was nothing to sew.

In the meantime, there were unfortunately also delays in the procurement of materials, so that we sometimes had to wait several weeks for new fabric and were unable to produce during this time.

But all in all it was a very exciting and interesting time.
