GO ON A JOURNEY THROUGH THE BUSINESS HISTORY OF FILUCRY®
Filucry® is a young company that specializes in pattern instructions and handmade accessories. Founded in 2015 by Vicky Neubronner, Filucry® now offers over 100 products in more than 10 different categories.
With the introduction of the card cases, which have a certified RFID & NFC protection, the company not only provides simple accessories, but also meets modern security standards in everyday life.
HOW IT ALL BEGAN. . .
After graduating from high school in summer 2015, Vicky founded the company Filucry® in autumn.
In addition to her part-time studies, in which she learns all the important economic backgrounds for running a company, she was also able to combine her creative ideas and the joy of manual and independent work.
THE FIRST PRODUCT
In January 2016 the Filucry® online shop opened with its first product category:
Pouches that you can use as a pencil case for school / university / work etc., as well as a cosmetic bag or something similar.
The idea behind it was to create a product that is relatively compact, but still offers a lot of storage space. As a creative person who likes to have a large selection of writing utensils with them, conventional pencil cases are often not enough.

After the appearance of the purses, small travelling bags followed a short time later.
As weekend bags they are the perfect size to store everything necessary for a short trip. They are also specially designed to fit hand luggage sizes, so you can easily bring them with you as carry-on luggage with most airlines.

TAKING UP OLD HANDCRAFTING TECHNIQUES
The smocked handbags were created because Vicky had known this technique of sewing certain points of the fabric together by hand for some time and was looking for a way to incorporate it into a suitable product.
As a front, this technique transforms the handbag into a very special accessory for special occasions.

EXPANSION OF THE PRODUCT RANGE
In 2017, loop scarves, key chain pouches, small pouches and messenger bags were added to the product range.
NEW PACKAGING DESIGN FOR THE ORDERS
An important point with Filucry® is the special product experience.
Right from the start, every product sold has been lovingly packaged and shipped.
For an even more beautiful appearance, all orders have been packed in tissue paper with the Filucry® logo since spring 2018.
TRAVEL OUTFIT FOR THE eREADER
The eReader cover was added as a new product in 2018.
With special padding, magnetic closure and a practical zippered compartment, eBooks are well protected everywhere, so that you can dive into other worlds at any time.
NEW PRODUCT LINE WITH SPECIAL SKILLS
A very special product line became part of Filucry® in spring 2019.
With the card cases it is not only possible to stow various bank cards and ID cards in a space-saving manner. With the built-in Cryptalloy® foil, you are also able to protect all data on your cards from RFID & NFC rays.
This prevents unauthorized persons from stealing personal information unnoticed and subsequently misusing it.
SUSTAINABLE AND PRACTICAL HELPERS
In autumn 2019, small rapeseed pillows moved into the Filucry® shop.
Originally intended as hand warmers in winter, they can also be used for many other purposes, such as tension, bruises, colds, headaches and much more, both warm and cold.
Thanks to their natural materials, they are also free from harmful substances and can be used again and again.
FILUCRY® BECOMES SYSTEM RELEVANT
With the lock down and the lack of masks in spring 2020, Filucry® spontaneously switched its production and began sewing makeshift masks.
It was an exciting time, characterised by difficulties in material procurement due to supply shortages on the one hand and a great demand for masks on the other.
THE STUDIES HAVE TO PAUSE AND THE PROJECT "FULL-TIME FILUCRY®" BEGINS
Due to the constantly growing demand for masks, Vicky unceremoniously took a break from her studies and concentrated entirely on Filucry® for a few weeks.
Together with her mother, she sewed masks for days on end to meet the high demand.
This time not only brought the company forward, but also gave valuable new insights into a "full-time entrepreneurial everyday life".

After the greatest demand for masks had been satisfied, it was time for a completely new project:
In addition to the physical, handmade products, a second mainstay was created. From now on, you will gradually be able to buy patterns with sewing instructions from Filucry®.

Products from existing resources
In Fall 2020, scrunchies (hair ties with a fabric cover) were added to the Filucry® product range.
When products are manufactured, a lot of fabric scraps and offcuts are sometimes left over. So that they do not have to be thrown away, they can be further processed in this way.
Apart from the elastic band, no new resources are used here.

New packaging design
At the end of 2020, the packaging design was adapted so that since then all packages are sealed with this printed adhesive tape.
It not only ensures that you recognize your order from afar. It is also 100% compostable, as it is made of paper and printed with environmentally friendly inks (based on soy).

New family member
In spring 2021, a plotter became part of Filucry®.
Since then, it has been possible to personalize certain products and also to decorate them with special designs, regardless of the fabric pattern.

Customizable products
With the arrival of the plotter, practical kitchen helpers were created in spring 2021, which can be personalized on request and are also available with some ready-made designs.
Innovative materials
In late summer 2021, 3 new card cases came into the store. Instead of the previous leatherette, these are made of Piñatex, a material made from the fibers of the leaves of pineapple plants. The great thing about this material is that it is not specially cultivated, but consists entirely of the "waste" produced by pineapple cultivation. After the fruit is harvested, there are approximately 13 million tons of plant residue left over each year, which is then often burned, creating a lot of CO2.

Christmas motifs & personalized heat packs
In fall 2021, the product range was supplemented with Christmas rape seed pillows. Here you can choose between 4 different Christmas motifs and decide which color the fabric and the plotter foil should have.

Digital downloads to get creative yourself
If you like the designs of Filucry®, you now have the opportunity to buy them for personal use and decorate your own creations with them. All designs come in the file formats SVG, JPG, PNG, PDF and EPS. This makes the designs suitable for plotting, for example, or for printing. There are no limits to your creativity.
