The keychain pouch is designed like a case and offers space to store small items like some cash, shopping lists or similar. Coins or heavier items that could easily slip out, you should pack in the larger compartment, because this reaches to the middle, so nothing can fall out when closed.

The bag is closed with a hook. You don't have to open the hook, you can simply pull the upper side under the ribbon.
